Arranging a reliable cleaning service in Cairo used to mean navigating through informal networks, inconsistent quality, and scheduling that rarely matched real life. The result was often a service that showed up when convenient for the cleaner, not the client.
Le Couteau de Mon Grand-Père was put together to address that directly. The name carries a sense of careful, deliberate craft — the kind of attention that goes into something done properly rather than quickly. That is the standard we try to bring to each visit.
The service operates in apartments and small office spaces across central Cairo. Every team member goes through structured onboarding before their first independent visit. The focus is on consistency — the same process followed each time, so the result is predictable rather than dependent on whoever happens to show up that day.
Harsh chemicals can wear down surfaces over time. The team selects products appropriate for each surface type — strong enough to clean properly, without unnecessary abrasion or fumes. If you have specific sensitivities or preferences, we accommodate them.
Each visit follows a defined sequence. The team does not decide on the day what to clean and in what order. There is a method, and it means nothing important gets skipped. Consistency is what makes recurring visits reliable rather than variable.
